School of Excellence

(For students of Sunshine Coast Grammar School)

The School of Excellence program is designed for elite tennis players enrolled at Sunshine Coast Grammar School. In the School of Excellence program, elite players are able to train during school hours, which helps students manage the school and tennis requirements of a modern elite tennis player. 

 

The School of Excellence program has great success in producing Australian national champions, American university scholarship holders, Tennis Australia scholarship holders and professional tennis coaches. The School of Excellence program also helped Sunshine Coast Grammar School win four Queensland state titles in the Queensland Schools Challenge and one Australian national title of the Australian Schools Nationals Challenge. A number of students also made the Queensland Primary Schools Bruce Cup team as well as Queensland Secondary Schools Pizzy Cup team through the School of Excellence program.
